Where is Island Park, Idaho?

Island Park is in Eastern Idaho, just a few miles from Yellowstone National Park. Take HWY 20 north from Idaho Falls, Idaho.

When is the Rally?

The Rally begins Friday morning, August 24th 2012. It is a three day event.

How do I register?

Registration is $24. You can register online, please click here to register. You can register by phone: 208-241-8596 or at the Rally. Registration begins at 8:00 am in the registration tent at the entrance to the Rally Park.
For the best selection of group rides, please register early on-line or by mail.
All adults that register early will receive a FREE RALLY T-SHIRT.


Where can I stay in Island Park?

The Rally is being held next to The Buffalo Run Campground and RV Park on Hwy 20. The Buffalo Run has cabins and RV spaces. Here is a link to their web site:

What should I bring with me to The Rally In The Pines?

Bring an ATV, Side X Side or dirt bike. Island Park should be warm in August, but bring warm clothes and rain gear, just in case. Bug spray is a good idea. And if you fish, defiantly bring your fishing pole and tackle. Island Park has GREAT fishing.
We have special group rides for fishermen or fishing ladies!

Lunch each day is not included with your registration. But, there will be vendors on the Rally grounds that will offer hamburgers, hot dogs, sack lunches, ice cream and more. Also available will be a no-host bar.
We are offering two "Lunch Rides" that lunch will be an additional charge.

 

What about the live music concerts?

Rocky Watson is an Idaho favorite recording artist. He plays classic rock and progressive country.
His concerts begin at 4:30 in the afternoon at Rally Park on Friday and Saturday.

Do I need to register my ATV or Side X Side in the State Of Idaho?

As long as you have a valid registration from another state, you do not need to register your ATV or Side X Side in Idaho or Montana.
ATV's and Side X Sides must be licensed for street use when ridden on a public or Forest Service maintained road and meet the following equipment requirements: head-light, tail-light, horn, rear-view mirror. This is required on most of the rides at Rally In The Pines.
Operator must carry proof of registration and insurance.
ATV's and Side X Sides can only be operated on a public roads by a licensed driver 16 years of age or older.
Helmets are required for all drivers/passengers 17 years of age and younger.

How much do the OHV Education Classes cost that are given during the Rally?

The State Of Idaho is providing a certified instructor for the OHV Education Classes that will be given at The Rally In The Pines. The classes are free of charge. Certificates will be issued at the completion of the course allowing for immediate legal operation. This course is mandatory for anyone 15 years or younger to operate an ATV, UTV or dirt bike on Forest Service roads.
